Emma 4th in Irish Schools

Emma Doherty finished just outside the medals at the Irish Schools Championships in Tullamore at the weekend.

Coming straight off the back of her second place in the UKA 10KM Walk, Emma dropped down in distance to compete over the 3000m.

The Malone College pupil was up against Irish Star, Kate Veale of St Augustines who demolished the field in a 12.40.09.

Emma recorded a time of 14.58.20 some way of her best time of 14.07 recorded last year in Tullamore.
