Men and age group winners in Larne / Simon’s hectic weekend / Wicklow way

It was the Larne half marathon at the weekend and with many Harriers using it as marathon prep and others racing it 46 took to the line. There were many standout performances with the men(top 4 to score) taking team honours, the women falling just short due to a registration “issue” and several age group winners. Nottingham XC

BjbqcohIcAABGQh.jpg largeConal McCambridge travelled to Nottingham as the sole representative of the NI U20 team. With Conal having a few years at U20 this was a great experience for him and he put in a solid shift to finish in 31st.

Wicklow way ultra

Robert Irvine travelled to Wicklow for the Wicklow way ultra marathon covering 51k (with 1,940 m of ascent) and had continued to show good form in the ultra scene finishing 16th in 5:18:14.
