At Whitehead on Easter Monday in the juniors 1.6 mile Luke Kelly claimed 1st place with Callum McIlroy placing 2nd.
On Saturday 11th April Rebecca Wallace travelled down to the Phoenix Park in Dublin for the Great Ireland Run and did just that, had a great run, coming in 6th.
At the Titanic 10k on Sunday 12th Tony McCambridge came 2nd in the junior mile with a time of 5.12, Cormac O’Rourke of Lagan Valley AC just beating him by one second. Next harrier over the line was Lauren Cox in 15th position, claiming the 2rd place female with a time of 5.52. Luke Kelly wasn’t far behind with 5.56 for 16th, Daniel Kelly ran 7.08 for 44th, Patrick Willis 7.30 for 53rd, Erin Harding 7.49 for 64th, Caoilainn Curran 8.42 for 91st, Finn Harding 9.43 for 122nd and Alicia McGivern 11.04 for 148th.
The Athletes of the month for March for commitment and hard work are Luke Kelly and Caitlin Maguire. Well done Luke and Caitlin and keep it up!
