Last weekend some of our Juniors dusted off their bikes and took to the grass. On Saturday 12th September Triangle Triathlon Club held their annual Roe Valley Junior Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquathon. Leah and Matthew Horan took part in the duathlon, Luke Kelly competed in the triathlon, and Dominique and Jessica McAllister also raced in duathlons. The events are not timed and are held to encourage young people to take part in sport. Our Juniors finished strongly in their age group events and had a tough but great experience out at Roe Valley. Well done Juniors!
Thank you to Triangle Triathlon Club, Desmond Loughrey and Paul McAllister for photographs.
Closer to home, several of our Juniors were out running a parkrun. At Ormeau parkrun Eva Kissenpfennig completed her run in a time of 23:56.
Over at one of the newer Belfast runs – Stormont – Karis Hamilton ran her first ever parkrun with a great time of 29:55. Congratulations Karis on joining the parkrun family!
