North Belfast Harriers Race Report 16th – 22nd May 2022

5th Monument Mile Classic, Stirling

On Friday evening, over in Scotland four Harriers raced the mile on the track. Andrew Milligan (Sen) 4:02.29 set a new club record; Gavin McCaffrey (u23) 4:18.47; Conor Curran (v45) 4:35.02 and David Clarke (v60) 4:52.01 set a new British age category record.

Uphill Only Race, Ben Lomond

Senior Home International, Alva, Scotland.

Also on Friday, in Scotland Martsje Hell completed the four miles racing up Ben Lomond, climbing 3000ft in 54:25. This was ahead of representing Northern Ireland in the Senior Home Countries International Race on Sunday where she helped win a team Bronze medal finishing the 11.4 mile (3000ft Climb) mountain race in Alva, Clackmannanshire, finishing in 1:47:44.

Hackney Half Marathon

On Sunday Matthew Carleton ran the East End streets of Hackney to complete the 13.1 miles in 1:45:38
