It was a busy week for the Harriers and they were represented in a wide range of events, from 5k races to Ultras.
5000m track event, Magherafelt – Monday 30th May
Hosted by Tafelta AC, this track event offers the perfect opportunity to get a PB, and there were several achieved on the night – well done to everyone who took part.

Woodburn Forest Series – Tuesday 31st May
The third race in this popular series, this route takes runners through the scenic Woodburn Forest. Jason Reid completed the race in 50:03 – well done Jason!
Craigavon Lakes 10K – Wednesday 1st June
Starting at Craigavon Civic Centre this route takes runners around the Craigavon lakes path and offers a choice of a 5K and 10K distance. Well done to Colin McDowell who came 2nd in the 10k race.
Firmus Fab 5 Open Track Event – Thursday 2nd June
Hosted by Lagan Valley, this event took place at the Mary Peters track. There were some outstanding performances from the Harriers – well done all.

Washing bay Green – Saturday 4th June
This event in Tyrone offers runners a choice of 5K, 10K and half marathon distances. Peter Donnelly finished 2nd in the 10k with a time of 33:50 – well done Peter!
Aerfort Dhún na Gall Runway 5K – Saturday 4th June
Taking place at Donegal airport this race raised money towards the Ukraine Crisis Appeal. It was a family event for the McCambridges, and a special well done to Brendan who took 3rd place.
We Run Wild NI Norn Iron 100 – Saturday 4th June – Sunday 5th June
Starting in Ballycastle this Ultra race passes iconic sights such as the Giants Causeway, finishing in Gortin, County Tyrone and covers a mix of terrain including trail, road and beach. Well done to Greg McClure who completed an amazing 111.6 miles in an unofficial time of 34:43:12.

Open Track Meet – Sunday 5th June
Darragh Andrews completed the W100 in 16:81 and the W400 in 82:30 – well done Darragh.
Cork Marathon – Sunday 5th June
This flat and fast race takes runners through the city. passing various landmarks. Well done to Ray Cameron (3:44:32) and Thomas McLaughlin (3:25:10).
