Not too busy this week but still, the Harriers were rewarded with two podium places.

Sat 11th Jun 2022: Killclougher 10k.
![]() |
On a blustery June morning, two representatives from North Belfast Harriers made the journey to the townland of Killyclogher, on the outskirts of Omagh to take part in the 10k road race. Peter Donnelly ran a great race to podium in second place, finishing in 32:51. Joe Gallagher, also running in the 10k finished 2nd in the M60 category in 42:36, coming 52nd overall.
Starting and finishing adjacent to the football stadium, the Killyclogher club offered options for a 10k race or a 5k race that was promoted as more of a fun run. Both distances took runners on a circuit of the picturesque rural roads on the outskirts of Omagh. The gentle undulations, combined with the occasional squally conditions added interest, but didn’t seem to deter any of the participants. |
