It was a week of unusually hot weather for us but that did not deter the Harriers in participating in a number of races.
British Milers Club Watford 1500m – Wednesday 10th August
Andrew Milligan completed the race in 3:43:65, coming close to setting a new club record. Well done Andrew.

Connswater 5 mile Challenge – Friday 12th August
Starting and finishing at CS Lewis Square this race covers a mixed terrain of road, trail and grass. The following Harriers took part, well done to all and a special mention to Gareth Lyons who placed 4th.

Ballinamore 10k – Friday 12th August
This race is part of the Ballinamore Festival Road Races . Conan McCaughey took first place with a time of 30:54 , setting a new course record – well done Conan.
Irish Life Health Masters Tullamore – Saturday 13th August
Congratulations to James Trainor who placed 1st in the M35 Triple Jump with 9:65 and 4th in the M35 800m with 2:12:01
Born2Run FitPink Dambusters -Saturday 13th August
Taking place in Silent Valley this race offers a choice of 5k, 10k and 10 mile races. Lorraine Hibburt completed the 10k in 1:07:16 – well done Lorraine.
NI Club League Mary Peters Track – Saturday 13th August
This was the last round of the NI Club League for this year. The following Harriers took part – well done to all.

Lurig Challenge Run – Saturday 13th August
Part of the Heart of the Glens Festival this off road 3.8 mile race takes participants to the summit of Lurig and back down again. Well done to the following runners and a special mention to Philip Goss who placed 2nd overall and Nat Glenn who placed 1st in the Vet 55 category.

Rock the Lakes and Lough Craigavon – Sunday 14th August
Congratulations to Phil Clarke who took 3rd place in the 5k with a time of 16:43 and Adam Smyth who placed 5th in the Half Marathon with a time of 1:15:06.
