In order to function North Belfast Harriers requires some basic details about our members. We only collect the minimum necessary amount of data that we need (contact details for emergencies etc). We will not use this personal information any non-obvious way and we will not share your information with any third party (except Athletics NI see below).
Note: We do not store any financial information used for payments of membership this is handled via Paypal.
What are my details used for?
Your details are used in the following areas;
- Provide communications
- Safety contact informations
- Application for Athletics Northern Ireland membership
How long is my data held?
Your data is held as long as you are a member of the club. If you membership expires your data will be held for a further year before being automatically deleted by our membership. It is held for an additional year as many members do not initially renew their membership when it expires immediately. Deletion of these details at this point would not allow us to contact you to arrange future payment. This is quite common occurrence If you wish to have your details deleted see the section below.
Who has access to my details?
Your details are initially stored by the membership team. From time to time the members of committees / subcommittees will request your specific details in order to carry out their function. No other members will be allowed have access to your information. Athletics NI are the only third party who we will share your data with in order to complete your membership with their organisation.
View/edit my details
All personal details on members held by the club for administration purposes can be accessed and edited by the members themselves. This can be done by visiting the membership portal using the following link: https://membermojo.co.uk/nbh/signin
From here all you need to do is enter your email address and password. If you can not remember your password click the “Sign in without password” and an email will be sent containing details on how to access you account.
If you can not recall the email address you used for membership please contact the membership manager and they should be able to identify the email you have used. email@example.com
To view and edit your personal details click the “Your membership” tab on the top bar of the page once logged in. From here you should be able see a button to view and edit your details. Once you are happy with your details ensure to click save.
Delete my details
As mentioned the club requires a small amount of data on members to operate. If you would like to remove all of your data you would place the club in a position where we could not provide the level of safety that would be expected and as such we would require that your membership be removed from the club. If this is something you would like to go forward with then please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
